On April 26th, District Firefighters headed out to Norpaco Gourmet Foods to conduct fire extinguisher training. Norpaco Foods had reached out to the Department’s Fire Marshal’s Office looking for fire extinguisher training that they could incorporate into their April safety meeting; approximately 20 employees participate in the training.
The training that Firefighters provided consisted of a short classroom presentation on the use and operation of a fire extinguisher, followed by employees using real extinguishers on live fire. Employees did a great job extinguishing the fires, and a good time was had by all. The Fire Marshal’s Office would like to thank Norpaco for inviting us to conduct this training, and look forward to working with them again in the future.
