Fire Commission

Nine elected community members make up the Board of Fire Commissioners for the Westfield Fire District. An election is held annually and three commissioners are appointed to a three year term.

Three of the commissioners are members of the Westfield Volunteer Fire Department. These commissioners are responsible for representing the membership of the department at the monthly commission meetings.

The Board of Fire Commissioners is responsible for overseeing the operation of the Westfield Fire District, which includes the Westfield Volunteer Fire Department and Westfield Fire District Tax Office.
