Commissioner Elections – POSTPONED

An annual election to elect Commissioners to the Westfield Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners is normally held on the first Tuesday in February; however, the Commission has found it is in the best interest of the public’s health, good governance, and order of the District, during a time of federal, state, county and local public disaster and emergency, to postpone the election and to take the following additional measures:

– The election to elect Commissioners scheduled for February 2, 2021 has been postponed until May 11, 2021.

– The Commission hereby confirms that candidate filings for the postponed election will remain valid for the election being held on May 11, 2021 and the candidate filing period will not be re-opened for the May election date.
